  • Camp Positions

We have three camps with positions we are looking for volunteers to fill. Our main needs are counselors, nurses (must be licensed) and social workers (need a degree in social work). We also have positions to fill in crafts, woodworking, fisherman/woman, music people, photographers and those who can assist with daily preparation and help out anywhere they are needed. We will find a perfect fit for every volunteer!

  • RFK Workday

If you are organized and efficient we have the perfect way for you to help out. The week or two before camp we are in need of people to help prep for the week and do tasks such as stuffing name tags, sorting shirts, making copies etc. You are welcome to bring your family and then everyone can help out.

  • Spa Day

Want to volunteer but can't commit to a whole week? No problem! An activity we do every year that the girls love is when volunteers drive up to camp for one day and pamper our girls by giving them manicures & pedicures. You must be at least 15 years old, and if you are under the age of 18, than a parent or legal guardian must attend with you. This is also perfect for a mother/daughter duo who want to volunteer together.

  • Poster Makers

Do you have an artsy side or kids who are always looking to do a project? Each camper receives a poster with their name and their spiritual name on it that they hang above their bed at camp and then get to take home. We need volunteers to help make a poster for each child.

  • Birthday Boxes

One of the most special activities we have at camp each year is throwing a birthday party for all the campers. For some campers this is the only time they get to celebrate their birthdays and get gifts. We fill a birthday box for them that they can open and bring home. If you would like to purchase items for a birthday box these are the items we know the kids would love:

Boys: Legos, toy cars, sport balls, fidget spinners, stuffed animal, sport trading cards, goggles, baseball cap etc.

Girls: Legos, mini craft kits, nail polish, journal, pen set, hairbrush, lotion, stuffed animal, goggles etc.

If you can’t buy these items but still want to contribute to the birthday boxes please check out our donation page.

  • Registration

The morning of the first day of camp and the evening of the last day of camp, we need volunteers to help register our kids and also supervise them as their parents drop them off. Another great option if you want to serve but can only do one day!

  • Laundry

When camp is finished we have bedding from all 50 campers that needs to be washed and then stored in preparation for the following year. We are looking for volunteers that can come to the church and pick up a few bags of laundry and then return them to church when clean.

  • Financial Support

It costs around $100,000 to run all our programs each year and we are fully sponsored by donors. Here is a breakdown of how you can help:

$75 provides birthday box items for each camper

$100 provides a camper a bible and activity book, photo album filled with pictures of their time at camp, a pencil box, t-shirts, water bottle, duffle bag and an MP3 player filled with songs they learned throughout the week

$500 sends a kid to camp

$800 sends a kid and a volunteer to camp

$2000 provides a scholarship to a camper once they finish high school
